EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY....
Who was Van Cliburn? Bring in some kind of presentation for the class, be it art, video, lecture...any format is acceptable. Answer the following:
- What was his nationalilty?
- What kind of musician was he?
- What did he do at age 23 that was an important occurrence in the Cold War?
- What were some of the signature pieces of his repertoire?
- How long was his career?
- What is the Van Cliburn Competition?
