Homework due Monday 4/16:
1) Harmonize a G major scale using only I, IV & V(7). One chord per note. End on I with cadence.
2) Harmonize a G major scale using any chord while following good harmonic practices. Avoid errors on handout.

Spring is here!
Hey gang,
I hope everyone had a restful spring break. I was pleased overall with your transcription projects and will get them back to you soon, probably next week.
Be thinking about when we can establish a time to meet regularly before or after school to practice dictation and any other skills that may need reinforcement. I hope you all are practicing on your own in addition...
We'll have a quiz over chord and cadence identification. After that we'll move on to harmonizing a given melody.
